Mood: rushed
I began getting the OEB Sophie's face and story out there yesterday. I hope to get her on this site today, as well as some others that are desperate for a place to go.
Luke is having terrible allergy problems again and I cannot find a way to buy him the food that helps him. The vet and I are in search of Eagle brand dog food. Until we can find it, it is another game of roulette with trying different brands and formulas until something helps. I am open to any suggestions. Even the high quality brands that normally clear up skin problems etc... still give him reactions. I hate to see him scratching and being uncomfortable. I will pay whatever it takes, but I just have to find the right formula. Hang in there Luke! I'm desperately searching!
I HAVE to list some things on EBay today so I have better chances to make money for vet bills. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth all the work, but until a better money maker comes along, I just have to keep at it. I DO enjoy the hunt for high fashion designer clothing. And I even enjoy doing the research to know how to assess real vs. fake. But it doews consume almost all of my time. When I get the rescue going on a full scale again, I might have to abandon the project.
Until I find a better way, please keep shopping at mamadori1 on EBay for hard to find designer and proven good quality apparel.
Luke is doing great and he greets me every morning before my eyes are even working right ready for work. He will have laundry in his mouth he wants to throw away or he will have his "pack" in his mouth. Poor guy, he just wakes up so much faster than I do. lol
Today was a day of practice. Luke practiced picking up laundry and putting it in the laundry basket. He practiced throwing trash away. And he didn't know it but he practiced heeling while we went on a beautiful walk after the rain.
One of Luke and my friends, Jade, came by to visit and went on the walk with us. We talked and talked and walked and walked.
I talked to a rescue coordinator who is sending a very nice puppy to be worked with. You can read about him on the "Well, look who's here!" page.
